Morgan's Vale and Woodfalls CE Primary School

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a priority at Morgan’s Vale and Woodfalls CE Primary School

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. The school follows government guidelines on safeguarding children, including the safe recruitment of staff.

The school has a formal Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and it can be seen on request from the School Office or the school’s website by clicking here.

If you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a child you can speak to:

The School’s Designated Safeguarding Officer: Mr Graham Nagel-Smith
The School’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer:

Mrs Verity Jaffray

Miss Fiona Heydari

The School’s Designated Safeguarding Governor: Mrs Sheila Youings

They have been appointed by the Governors to this role and have been trained to respond to any safeguarding concerns. All staff at the school have been trained to recognise safeguarding concerns and how to follow the school’s procedures.

If you are visiting the school, please help us to Safeguard our children by signing in at the School Office, wearing a yellow Visitor’s Badge and taking and reading a yellow ‘Code of Conduct for Volunteers, Visitors and Members of Staff’ if it is your first visit. This can be viewed online by clicking here.
