Who We Are
Vicki Bond
My name is Vicki and I have worked in Mini Morgan’s for over 15 years on and off. I am NVQ level 3 qualified and first aid paediatric qualified. I really enjoy my time here in this very nurturing and holistic setting.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, walking my dog, reading and a spot of retail therapy!
Maddy Chalk
My name is Maddy and I joined the pre school over 4 years ago , I took a year out and am happy to be back.
I am NVQ level 3 qualified and starting my level 4 which will help me support other at Mini Morgan’s. I also have experience with children who have special needs and am paediatric first aid qualified.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and therefore I love story time with the children. I also love drawing and spending time with my loved ones.
Amy McErlean
My name is Amy and I am 19 and have just left college. I’ve been working in Mini Morgan’s for a year and am just starting my NVQ level 3 qualification.
My favourite things to do with the children is outdoor play and making a mess in the mud kitchen. I spend most of my free time sewing and crocheting or cleaning up after my two younger sisters!
Suzanne Palmer
I am Suzanne and I’ve been helping out in pre school since Easter after working at the school for over 5 years. I’m really looking forwar to completing my NVQ level 3.
I love doing arts and crafts and enjoy bringing this into the classroom. I enjoy days out spending time together with my family.
We also have Julie McDevitt, our Reception Teaching Assistant, on hand to help out; also Clarissa Cranmer and Ashleigh McErlean who both work in the office but love to come and get involved in messy play. Claire Westmore, who has completed a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, loves reading and singing nursery rhymes with the children.
The Preschool is ultimately overseen by the Headteacher, Mr Graham Nagel-Smith, and the school's board of governors.
The School also has a qualified SENDCo (Special Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator), Miss Bethany Casson, so children with additional needs can be supported earlier in readiness for School.
We also work closely with a local support charity called Downton 4 Family. They support families who are going through tricky times, whether financial, bereavement, separation or experiencing behaviour issues with their children. They offer a confidential service and are incredibly supportive.
