We play a lot of sport

We enjoy playing sport; we are good at working together as a team, learning and practicing new skills trying our best and being determined right to the end of the game. We take part in a wide range of sports festivals covering sports such as netball, football, rugby, swimming, hockey, cricket and, cross-country running. Our teams are usually mixed gender and every child gets to represent the school.

We have a sports coach that takes multi-sports activities two lunchtimes a week and there are also multi-sports after school clubs for KS1 and KS2. That's in addition to 2 hours quality PE in the curriculum. In the summer term the whole school enjoys our Sports Day to find out which House will win the cup!

We also enjoy trying new sports in addition to team sports. In the last few years our children have enjoyed skiing at the dry slopes in Southampton; climbing at the climbing walls at Exeter and Romsey, tackling the high ropes course at Go Ape; ten pin bowling at Oxford; ice skating at the Eden Project; sailing and canoeing at Blashford Lakes.
