Sessions
The setting can accommodate up to 24 children in a session from age 2-4. There are several different types of sessions that children can attend. For example:
- A morning session could run from 8.45am – 12pm or until 1pm where the children stay to lunch
- An afternoon session when the children could attend from 12pm – 3.15pm, or from 1pm.
- A full day session when the children could attend from 8.45am – 3.15pm
If you need more flexibility around hours, please talk to us as we have a Breakfast Club that starts at 8am and After School care until 4.15pm that may also be available for your child.
A typical session would look like this:
- 8.45am – 9am: Arrival and register
- 9am – 9.45am: Free play where the children can settle and relax in the setting
- 9.45am – 10.15am: Literacy/Communication and Language activities
- 10.15am – 10.45am: Snack and free play
- 10.45am – 11.15am: Mathematics activities
- 11.15am – 12.00pm: Topic and free play
- 12.00pm – 12.30pm: Lunch in the main school hall
- 12.30pm – 1.00pm: Free play
- 1.00pm – 3.15pm: Topic and free play. This will also include outdoor learning and intervention for some children, for example Speech and Language sessions.
- 3.00pm – 3.15pm: End of the Preschool day
A snack is provided for all children, as well as milk or water and we can cater for allergies and intolerances. We can also provide hot meals (these need to be ordered and prepaid). We can support with toilet training and can provide a quiet area for naps where required.
We are open days times term dates follow the school's calendar.
We charge £4.50 per hour and invoice termly.
Early years funding is available for 15 hours for 3-4 year olds; please refer to Wiltshire Council's website for more information.
Funding may also be available for 2 year olds, so please have a look at Wiltshire Councils website to see if this applies to you.
